Technical Advice fits within the same stable as Due Diligence and Assurance and aspects of Development Monitoring and requires experienced surveyors who have a broad knowledge of construction and development so that clients can understand the risks and issues, weigh these up and make the right decisions in an efficient manner without having to commission expensive support from various quarters. Sometime though this is unavoidable and careful judgement is required to determine when additional support is required.
We have many years of experience of providing technical advice and monitoring developments on behalf of banks, funds, owners and occupiers including retail warehousing, industrial units, offices, leisure centres, schools and health centres. Our objective is to ensure a development meets the clients expectations in terms of meeting the requisite cost, quality and programme requirements set out in the respective legal agreements but it also includes first setting the benchmarks, advising on risks, and if necessary proactively tackling any issues which arise.
